Among the top-ten most dangerous are the antidepressants Pristiq (desvenlafaxine), Paxil (paroxetine) and Prozac (fluoxetine).<!--more--><\/div>\n<p>Concerns about the extreme negative side effects of many popular antidepressant and antipsychotic drugs have been on the rise, as these drugs not only cause severe <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturalnews.com\/health.html\">health<\/a> problems to users, but also pose a significant threat to society. The ISMP report indicates that, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration&#8217;s (FDA) Adverse Event Reporting System, many popular <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturalnews.com\/drugs.html\">drugs<\/a> are linked even to homicides.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-288\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wellnesstruthnetwork.com\/?attachment_id=288\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-288\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wellnesstruthnetwork.com\/?attachment_id=288\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-288\" title=\"prescription drugs\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wellnesstruthnetwork.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/prescription-drugs-e1296328554896.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"286\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div>Most of the drugs in the top ten most dangerous are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturalnews.com\/antidepressants.html\">antidepressants<\/a>, but also included are an insomnia <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturalnews.com\/medication.html\">medication<\/a>, an attention-deficit hyperactivity <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturalnews.com\/disorder.html\">disorder<\/a> (ADHD) drug, a malaria <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturalnews.com\/drug.html\">drug<\/a> and an anti-smoking medication.<\/div>\n<p>As reported in <em>Time<\/em>, the top ten list is as follows:<\/p>\n<p>10. Desvenlafaxine (Pristiq) &#8211; An antidepressant that affects <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturalnews.com\/serotonin.html\">serotonin<\/a> and noradrenaline. The drug is 7.9 times more likely to be associated with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturalnews.com\/violence.html\">violence<\/a> than other drugs.<\/p>\n<p>9. Venlafaxine (Effexor) &#8211; An antidepressant that treats anxiety disorders. The drug is 8.3 times more likely to be associated with violence than other drugs.<\/p>\n<p>8. Fluvoxamine (Luvox) &#8211; A selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturalnews.com\/SSRI.html\">SSRI<\/a>) drug that is 8.4 times more likely to be associated with violence than other drugs.<\/p>\n<p>7. Triazolam (Halcion) &#8211; A benzodiazepine drug for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturalnews.com\/insomnia.html\">insomnia<\/a> that is 8.7 times more likely to be associated with violence than other drugs.<\/p>\n<p>6. Atomoxetine (Strattera) &#8211; An ADHD drug that is 9 times more likely to be associated with violence than other drugs.<\/p>\n<p>5. Mefoquine (Lariam) &#8211; A malaria drug that is 9.5 times more likely to be associated with violence than other drugs.<\/p>\n<p>4. Amphetamines &#8211; This general class of ADHD drug is 9.6 times more likely to be associated with violence than other drugs.<\/p>\n<p>3. Paroxetine (Paxil) &#8211; An SSRI <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturalnews.com\/antidepressant_drug.html\">antidepressant drug<\/a> that is 10.3 times more likely to be associated with violence than other drugs. It is also linked to severe withdrawal symptoms and birth defects.<\/p>\n<p>2.
